We offer the following drill games for the Language Arts (and while we are english-centric we are proud to offer American Sign Langauge as a drill).
- Vocabulary
- Basic English vocabulary. Most of the words used came from ESL (English as a Second Language) college collections. This would align with grades 9-11 in US schools.
- Alphabits
- Designed for younger children the goal here is to introduce the English alphabet and get an understanding of the letters that make it up.
- ASL
- American Sign Language is a way for people who are hearing to communicate with those who have hearing loss. ASL uses specific hand forms and motions to create the English alphabet so that hand signals can be used to spell out words. Now ASL has grown from simple spelling to a complex series of over 1270 specific terms and ideas that can be expressed, so there is much more to be learned. We hope to expand the drill in the future, but for right now, it is still very simple with just the basic alphabet. You can learn more about ASL at this site and this site.
